The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning and Faculty Success Team are dedicated to fostering professional growth and community among faculty members. We host a variety of regular events designed to enhance teaching skills, promote collaboration, and celebrate achievements.

Our monthly workshops focus on professional development and alternate between in-person and virtual formats. We also invite guest speakers to share their expertise and insights on various topics related to teaching and learning. These events offer valuable perspectives and stimulate thought-provoking discussions, enriching the professional lives of our faculty.

AI in Education: Foundations and Applications
(Remote Workshop)

AI in Education: Unlocking the Power of Prompts

Join us for our next Faculty Success Workshop, where we will explore the art and science of writing effective prompts for AI tools. Roundtable: Accessibility

Pull up a chair and join us for a casual, brunch-style Faculty Roundtable where we’ll explore what accessibility really looks like in today’s classrooms—online and in person. This informal gathering invites faculty to share experiences, ask questions, and explore ideas with peers and subject matter experts. Whether you're just starting to think about accessibility or are already implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, this is a space to connect with colleagues and experts, ask questions, and discover new approaches that support all learners.

 

The Teaching Edge: Managing Large Classes for Engagement and Efficiency
