Cheer Team Clinics

Cheer & Dance Pink-Out Clinic

Date: October 4, 2025
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Sheila Umphrey Recreational Sports Center, 4465 Jimmy Simmons Blvd.
Age: Kindergarten - 8th grade
Attire: Athlete clothing and closed-toed shoes.

• Learn routines and cheers from the Cheer and Dance Teams to perform on the sidelines during the first and second quarters of the football game at Provost Umphrey Stadium
• Participate in the Team Walk parade at 12:00 PM on Cardinal Lane/East Virginia Street, alongside Cheer, Dance, Band, and Football

Registration Fee: $40
Registration Deadline to guarantee a t-shirt: October 1
Registration fee includes:

• A Pink-Out t-shirt
  • Walk-up registrations on the morning of the clinic will only receive a t-shirt on a first-come, first-served basis and payment will need to be made in cash at the door

2026-2027 Cheer Team Tryouts

Fee: $40

Tryout Schedule

9:00 am: Group Stunt
10:00 am: Group Tumble/Fight Song
11:00 am: Learn a short cheer
12:30 pm: Lunch Break
1:00 pm: Individual Tryouts
Roster Announcement: The team will be posted by Monday, May 19 at the latest. Athletes are expected to check their emails for the list.
Monday, May 19: Mandatory meeting only for those who have made the team. At this meeting, we’ll sign contracts and get fitted for uniforms.

Try Out Attire for Females

• Solid Black, White, or Red Sports Bra
• Solid Black Spandex Shorts
• Hair Out of Face
• Bow is optional
• Cheer Shoes or Athletic Shoes
• "Gameday" Makeup, Red Lipstick is preferred

Try Out Attire for Males

• Solid Red, White, or Black T-shirt
• Solid Black or Red Shorts
• Cheer Shoes or Athletic Shoes
